From the company that brought you Dolly Parton’s 9to5 Musical, Summer Holiday and most recently, Priscilla, Queen of the Desert,  Lyric Club Glasgow are back and are proud to present the dazzling, award-winning musical, Grease. Dust off your leather jackets, pull on your bobby-socks and take a trip to a simpler time as Danny and Sandy fall in love all over again.

Since it’s electric Broadway and West End debut in the early 1970’s, Grease has remained one of the world’s most popular and enduring musicals.

It’s the original high-school musical, featuring all the unforgettable songs from the hit movie including You’re The One That I Want, Grease Is The Word, Summer Nights, Hopelessly Devoted To You, Sandy, Greased Lightnin’ and many more.

So throw your mittens around your kittens and hand jive the night away with the show that’ll make you want to stand up and shout, ‘A-wop-bop-a-loo-bop, a-wop-bam-boom!

Dancers

As ever, the standard of dance was exceptionally high across the day and the committee and production team were impressed with all who auditioned. Because of the high standard, the decision has been made to not have a set group of dancers and rather have the full cast involved where possible.

Today’s auditions allowed the production team to see the differing styles and level of choreography within our cast.
